'Tweekers! (meaTWEEKers),
it is time once again to roam the great city of angels looking for meat to put in mouth. we have 3 new restaurants this year! make sure to try them out before John Cusack flies a plane into the apocolypse, or whatever happened in that movie. since our numbers have grown as fast as our bellies, we're trying a few new things to disperse the stress on our restaurants
and make sure everyone has a seat, without losing the communal spirit of BBQ.
Lunchtime Warriors -- our first mate,
Dan Murrell, is still a daywalker (has a night job) so he'll be visiting all of our locations for lunch each day.
send him an email if you'd like to join him! no one man should have all that meat.
Day 4: Erni's House --
Smokin' Willies BBQ truck will be parked out front to serve us up some meat from 7pm - 9pm. bring blankets or chairs so we can picnic on the lawn and porch! since this is, however, a very residential, very child-filled neighborhood, please remember to be somewhat respectful. (i.e. feel free to bring alcohol!
don't feel free to pass out on the lawn.)
Day 5: Huston's Texas Pit Bar-B-Cue -- if you've been here, you know how small it is. while they always have a great attitude, we don't always fit. we're going to do two different seatings this year. so if you can make it by
6pm, join us then! if not, the second seating will be at
8pm.
Day 7: Hambones BBQ & Po'Boys -- we like to do some travelling on Saturdays, so we're venturing out to Bellflower! Hambones promises a lovely patio dining experience -- with 30 seats only. so if you're up for an adventure,
RSVP here before seats fill up!
Day 8: Dave & Michelle's BYOBBQ -- as always, we will have the Superbowl on inside, and the grill flaming outside. bring anything you want to cook! bring sides! bring drinks! help us close out this year's festivities with a bang. after all, it's the last Meat Week ever since THE WORLD IS ENDING.
