From the Captain
Hello my fellow meat-eaters, welcome to Meat Week 2013, San Antonio style! This is our very first year and we are super thrilled to converge on some of SA's very own bbq joints and food trucks! It was so hard to pick just 7 places...SA has a great BBQ scene and we really wanted to show our support to locally owned and operated establishments.

The final day of Meat Week SATX falls on Super Bowl Sunday!! You can't get any better than BBQ, BEER & FOOTBALL! All this will go down at The Point Park & Eats food truck park & bar (www.parkatthepoint.com). The venue will have 6 food trucks all selling meaty, juicy, meaty, moist, meaty, saucy, meaty items! The open air bar at The Point has a very large selection of beer on draft and bottles (over 90!! DOH!).
Saint Arnold Brewing Company will be reppin some of their brews with beer samples from 1-4pm. The big game will be on a huge giant outdoor screen. The place is pet and kid friendly too. So we've pretty much covered all of the reasons why this is one celebration for the books!

Can't wait to MEAT all of our new friends during out meaty journey.
