Welcome to Meat Week 2013!
It's the most wonderful time of the year - eight days of barbecue! We have lined up a great collection of Meat Week Venues this year, including our first ever Barbecue Food Truck Face-Off! We've got a mix of old favorites plus two newer establishments joining in on the fun.
Three events this year require advanced sign-up/purchase:
Tuesday 1/29 - Epic Smokehouse - There is a pre-fixed menu for this event. Reserve your space directly with the restaurant. Please identify yourself as a Meat Week participant when making the reservation by calling (571) 319-4001.
Friday 2/1 - Barbecue Food Truck Face-Off, hosted by Living Social. Sign up will be through Living Social. Purchase a ticket
here.
Saturday 2/2 - Barbecue Brunch at Kangaroo Boxing Club. This event was limited to 45 participants. IT IS ALREADY SOLD OUT.
For all of the others, just come on by around the start time or even a little after. You'll know where to find us by the happy faces and our proudly displayed Meat Week DC banner.
All our participating venues are offering specials for Meat Week participants.
Sunday 1/28 - Urban Bar-B-Que:

Monday 1/28 - Hill Country:
All You can Eat Brisket, Ribs and Chicken.
Tuesday 1/29 - Epic Smokehouse:
Prix Fixe three course gourmet barbecue meal - contact information for Epic is above.
Wednesday 1/30 - Rocklands:
1. MIXED RIBS: 2 bones pork ribs, one bone beef rib, 4 bones baby ribs $ 14.99
2. BELLY BUSTER: Brisket, 2 pork ribs, sausage, ¼ chicken, grilled onions, potato roll $ 12.99
3. DOUBLE MEAT SANDWICHES: Choice of brisket, pulled chicken, chopped pork $ 7.99
Note: these combos do not include side orders (meat only).
Thursday 1/31 - Pork Barrel:
1. PORK BARREL BBQ SAMPLER PLATTER for $19.95. This will include ¼ pound pulled pork, ¼
pound sliced brisket, 1 Texas brisket sausage, ¼ chicken, 1/3 rack of ribs and choice of 2 sides.
Friday 2/1: Food Truck Face Off - See the Living Social Link $49 for a whole lot of 'Que and beer!
