DC Meat Week turns five this year, but we've been celebrating with Urban Bar-B-Que for six! We've been kicking off Meat Week at Urban every year since we got started, and Urban is once again rolling out the red carpet for Meat Weekers.
We're getting a sneak peek at some of the new menu items that Urban will be introducing in two weeks. Everyone who attends will get free tastes of a pair of new sausages made special for Urban by Alexandria-based Logan's Sausages: a garlic-Sriracha chicken sausage and an Old Bay kielbasa.
They will be smoking up some "Flintstone" sized beef ribs and encouraging everyone to wash them down with PBR and Natty Boh.
